One of the most revolutionary camera designs of the 1980s - the XA3 is a true classic. With it's unique sliding clamshell design, and tiny size (only weighs 200g !) the XA3 was designed as the camera you can take absolutely everywhere.  The XA3 is the same as the XA2, but with the addition of two features: DX coding (so that the camera automatically sets the film speed). Backlight correction switch It has fully automatic exposure, so all you need to do is set the focus (only 3 simple settings) and click the shutter.  It is surprisingly good in low light - great for night street photography. The viewfinder is lovely and clear / bright, with a warning light to warn you if light is low. The bottom of the camera has a switch for battery test, and self-timer operation. So simple to use - anyone can take great photos. In addition to real leather cases, some Mju cameras came with a vinyl case. We occasionally find these. Fits the Mju snugly, and has a velcro clasp so that the camera is kept safe. In good condition with a few scuffs.

A very special compact camera with fully automatic operation. This was actually the first camera Canon ever made with a built-in flash. Has a self-timer, and can also imprint the year / month / day on photos if required. This was a popular autofocus SLR on sale from 1988. It was the first Canon SLR to have a built-in flash, which pops up automatically when needed. A moulded hand grip makes handling easy, there are minimal controls on the top of the camera making this a true point-and-shoot camera.
