A very stylish manual SLR film camera with some very nice features. If you haven't seen any reviews of this camera we encourage you to read them. Take a look at the gallery for some example shots we took with an FTb. This is one of the finest manual-only cameras of the era - with a lovely smooth winding / shutter action that screams quality. It operates in full manual mode, with the built-in light meter. The viewfinder has the tried-and-trusted match needle system, but also displays the selected shutter speed. Also has a self timer, and depth-of-field preview - a useful feature that is normally on higher-end cameras of the era. Uses the Canon Quick Load system to make loading film incredibly simple (the same system as used on the great Canonet QL17 rangefinder). The camera operates fully mechanically, and only uses the battery for the light meter. It takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied). We generally have both silver and black versions in stock. Let us know if you have a preference. A superb camera for beginners who will really learn the fundamentals of photography, but with the quality to last for years. We also stock a book: 'Learn Film Photography with the Canon FTb'. Check it out here. Great for learning about photography using this camera. Condition Very good condition all round - no major marks or scratches. Beautiful clear lens (50mm f1.8). Viewfinder generally clear with a few marks on the focusing screen All functions are working correctly including the light meter We also stock a selection of Canon lenses for this camera - click HERE to view and expand your system ! -

One of the smallest and lightest SLR cameras yet has a fully metal body, large bright viewfinder and simple controls for automatic / manual operation. Reasons why your parents probably owned one ! The ME-Super is the all-rounder member of the Pentax ‘M’ series of SLRs (which also includes the ME, MX). All three share the same lightweight and ultra-compact chassis, showcasing great build quality and lovely to use controls. The ME-Super has both automatic (aperture-priority) and manual exposure modes to cope with a wide range of situations. In aperture priority you can choose the lens aperture (which gives you control of depth-of-field) and the camera automatically sets the correct shutter speed. The clear LED display lets you know the shutter speed warns you of over / under exposure if needed. If using manual mode there are two buttons on the top of the camera for you to select shutter speed and again the viewfinder tells you when exposure is correct. Pentax put some thought into making film loading easy too – when loading film the camera has a special spool with many slots so it is faster more reliable to load film correctly. There is also a little window on the back of the camera with a striped flag that moves when you wind film on to confirm that film is indeed loaded correctly. Simple, yet very useful. The viewfinder is a joy to use – big, clear and bright. Pentax also released a separate flash to go with the ME-Super: the AF200S (we generally have these in stock). This offers auto flash exposure and also syncs with the ‘flash ready’ LED in the ME-Super viewfinder which is a nice touch. Specifications Shutter speeds from 1/2000 – 4s Simple film loading with ‘film loaded’ confirmation window Aperture priority automatic / manual exposure modes LED viewfinder display: Shutter speed Exposure compensation Over / Under exposure Flash ready indicator 50mm f/1.7 lens Takes 2x LR44 batteries (supplied) Condition Body in very good condition with a few light scratches from use Viewfinder is bright and clear, with a little dust as expected Fully tested with all functions in working order including shutter / film winding / exposure meter -

One of the most stylish SLRs ever made, the Canon F-1 is a beautiful camera to use. It was in production for a full 10 years from 1971 until 1981, underlining its status as one of the key professional cameras of the era. It operates in full manual mode, with the built-in light meter. The viewfinder has the match needle system, but also displays the selected shutter speed. It has a lovely slick wind / shutter release action, and can operate without batteries (only the meter uses battery power). Has a removable prism, and many different focusing screens available along with a huge range of professional accessories. The camera operates fully mechanically, and only uses the battery for the light meter. The F-1 is fairly sensitive to battery voltage so we recommend using either a Wein Cell or a 1.35v battery adaptor for meter accuracy. Supplied with f/1.4 50mm lens, or as body only. Condition Overall excellent condition No dents on the prism cover Has Type-A focusing screen in excellent conditoin All functions are working correctly including all shutter speeds and light meter. -

Originally aimed at serious amateur photographers, the SRT-101 has all of the features you could need in a manual SLR camera. Build quality is legendary (both inside and out). No surprise that Minolta sold a million of them. Released to compete with similar cameras of the era (e.g. the Canon FTb), the SRT-101 is part of a small group of cameras manufactured with build quality in mind, rather than the use of cheaper components. With a solid metal body the camera can operate without batteries (only the light meter needs them). It has one of the largest and brightest viewfinders in an SLR (that puts many later cameras to shame), making it great for composing your photos and capturing great images. We also stock a selection of lenses and accessories for this camera - click HERE to view and expand your system. We also occasionally have examples of the original Minolta leather case for these cameras. Click here. Pushing the shutter button is particularly satisfying, with a lovely smooth release movement. The viewfinder has a display of shutter speed at the bottom, with the right side having a needle that indicates if exposure is correct. Simply change the shutter speed or aperture to align two needles and set the correct exposure. The camera’s light meter measures exposure through the lens using twin sensors for accuracy. There is a huge range of Minolta lenses of different eras that can all be used on this camera. The camera has a depth-of-field preview button so that you can check before taking photo, plus a self-timer. Specifications Shutter speeds from 1/1000 – 1s + B Manual exposure control with ‘match-needle’ viewfinder metering Shutter speed displayed in the viewfinder Depth-of-field preview Self-timer 2 lens options available (50mm f/1.7 and f/1.4) Takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied) Condition Body in good condition with a few light scratches from use Viewfinder is bright and clear with a few marks visible Fully tested with all functions in working order including shutter / film winding / meter
