Originally aimed at serious amateur photographers, the SRT-Super has all of the features you could need in a manual SLR camera. Build quality is legendary (both inside and out). No surprise that Minolta sold a million of them. Released to improve upon the lovely SRT-101, the SRT-Super (also known as the SRT-102) addded the following features: Viewfinder display of your selected lens aperture Focusing screen rangefinder patch to make focusing more accurate Multiple exposure capability With a solid metal body the camera can operate without batteries (only the light meter needs them). It has one of the largest and brightest viewfinders in an SLR (that puts many later cameras to shame), making it great for composing your photos and capturing great images. We also stock a selection of lenses and accessories for this camera - click HERE to view and expand your system. We also occasionally have examples of the original Minolta leather case for these cameras. Click here. Pushing the shutter button is particularly satisfying, with a lovely smooth release movement. The viewfinder has a display of shutter speed at the bottom, with the right side having a needle that indicates if exposure is correct. Simply change the shutter speed or aperture to align two needles and set the correct exposure. At the top of the viewfinder the selected lens aperture is shown. The camera’s light meter measures exposure through the lens using twin sensors for accuracy. There is a huge range of Minolta lenses of different eras that can all be used on this camera. The camera has a depth-of-field preview button so that you can check before taking photo, plus a self-timer. Specifications Shutter speeds from 1/1000 – 1s + B Manual exposure control with ‘match-needle’ viewfinder metering Shutter speed displayed in the viewfinder Depth-of-field preview Self-timer Comes complete with Minolta Rokkor 50mm f/1.4 or 55mm f/1.7 lens (options) Takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied) Condition Body in excellent condition with a few light scratches from use Viewfinder and lens are bright and clear Fully tested with all functions in working order including shutter / film winding / meter -

Originally aimed at serious amateur photographers, the SRT-101 has all of the features you could need in a manual SLR camera. Build quality is legendary (both inside and out). No surprise that Minolta sold a million of them. Released to compete with similar cameras of the era (e.g. the Canon FTb), the SRT-101 is part of a small group of cameras manufactured with build quality in mind, rather than the use of cheaper components. With a solid metal body the camera can operate without batteries (only the light meter needs them). It has one of the largest and brightest viewfinders in an SLR (that puts many later cameras to shame), making it great for composing your photos and capturing great images. One of the last cameras in the legendary Himatic range from Minolta, the HiMatic AF was one of the first autofocus cameras on the market and was released in 1979. This is the upgraded version which also has the ability to imprint the date onto each photo (although the range of Years it can print only goes up to 1995 !). It has a self timer and a pop-up flash, so you can kiss goodbye to those disposable cameras and get a real camera.Takes great photos with the minimum of effort. With auto exposure and autofocus, this is a true point-and-shoot camera that anyone can use. Also, if you pop up the flash it won't let you take a photo until the flash is ready – a useful feature. In good condition and in perfect working order. -
