Nikon cameras at the time were aimed at the pro / advanced consumer market and this camera demonstrates superb build quality.  It has a built-in motorised film drive (up to 2.5 shots per second), and with autofocus is excellent for sports and wildlife photography.  Unlike more recent cameras, most controls are via buttons and dials on the body - much better and faster to use than menus on tiny LCD screens. Powerful and capable autofocus film camera with clear controls.  This camera was released in 2000 and comes with an autofocus Nikkor zoom lens (35-70mm), that spans from wide angle to portrait, so handy for a great many situations. It has a fully-automatic 'Program' mode where all you need to do is point it and press the shutter button for great results. It also has a pop-up flash. Importantly it is also capable of using later Nikkor AF-S lenses in autofocus mode (unlike earlier Nikon AF SLRs). You can operate it in 'point-and-shoot' mode, or use some of the more detailed functions for extra control. It boasts a very wide range of settings and capabilities to satisty experienced photographers, but is equally suited to new photographers too. The camera is in excellent condition, with no major marks, and comes fully tested and in full working order. There are a few minor signs of use and the lens is excellent condition. This is a 24mm wide-angle lens, giving a much wider view than the more common 28mm wide-angle. In excellent condition. Optics and multicoating as new.

A nice example of the Nikon FE film SLR. Comes optionally with an original 36-72 f/3.5 zoom AI zoom lens. The FE has aperture-priority automatic, in addition to full manual exposure modes and superb build quality. Great for learning the fundamentals of photography while also having automation to capture those fleeting moments. Compatible with the massive range of high quality lenses in the Nikon range. Condition Camera body in very good condition and full working order.  Some minor wear to the top corners of the camera, but no dents. Automatic metering working accurately and all shutter speeds correct. Lens is clear, with a few very small marks to the front coating, but no impact on picture quality. This is a 28mm wide-angle lens - classic focal length for landscape, architecture shots. In excellent condition. 

This flash was originally designed to accompany Nikon FM, EM and FE cameras. Takes 4x AA batteries. Tested and in working order. Comes with original case.

A lovely lens with an incredible zoom range, from ultra-wide-angle to medium telephoto, in a surprisingly compact body. Look at some sample shots we took with one of these lenses (on a Nikon F-501). Note that the last 2 shots demonstrate the large zoom range of this lens (both were taken from the same spot). Amusingly, news photographers in the 1990s nicknamed this lens 'The Streetsweeper' as it was able to cope with almost any quick photo opportunity they were likely to encounter (without needing to change lenses). In excellent condition, both optically and externally.

This is a lovely example of the Nikon F3 HP film SLR which was the most popular professional SLR Nikon ever made. While production started in 1980, it continued until 2001 due to the demand for the legendary build quality of this camera. The HP finder gives extra eye relief compared to the standard F3 finder and is also very good for users wearing glasses. Fitted with a Type J focusing screen.    Condition Body - excellent condition with no dents. Some usage wear of the paint at the bottom. HP Prism - very clear with no major optical marks. Small dent on the right casing. Viewfinder + LCD display - clean, clear and in very good condition with just a little dust. In full working order.
