The Canon Autoboy 3 was released in 1986 and has a lot of automatic features making it a great choice for film camera newbies: Auto film loading Auto film speed setting Auto focus Automatic exposure Auto film wind / rewind Auto flash The camera was really well received, and actually won the European Camera of the Year when launched. Also known as a SureShot Supreme.It has a nice handgrip which keeps the camera at the perfect angle when shooting and makes it very comfortable to use. As expected from a company like Canon, it has great picture quality, and only weighs 315g. Also known as (and badged as) the Sureshot Supreme.Takes a 2CR5 lithium battery (included) and works with all 35mm films.In good condition and full working order with a few scuffs.

This camera was released in 1981 and is a fully automatic model: auto-focus, auto film winding, auto film loading, auto exposure. It also has a flash. Really easy for beginners, but still takes great photos. Take a look at the gallery for some example photos we took with an Auto 7 ! The range of shutter speeds is good, so you can take photos in fairly poor light, and it just uses 2x AA batteries for power. Camera ConditionNo dents or major marks, and a few scuffs from usage. It has a red light next to the viewfinder that lights up when it is too dark to remind you to turn on the flash which is very useful. A very slim and elegant compact camera, extremely easy to use. Features 'drop-in' film loading, which takes all effort out of loading the film. Autofocus and auto film winding make this one of the easiest point- and shoot cameras to use. Takes great pictures and has a sliding lens cover to turn power on/off. Interesting,  when you load film into this camera it first automatically winds the entire film out of the film cartridge, then winds it gradually back after each shot. This is a very simple to use camera from 1987. All you need to do is press the button to take a photo. It has two focus setting buttons for a) close shots and b) very distant shots but for anything in between just press the button. The flash operates in close-up mode so this camera is pretty foolproof. It also has a useful sliding "clam shell" cover design to protect the lens when the camera is not in use, and a self timer. This is a member of Olympus's Infinity AZ Super Zoom/IZM series, made from 1988 to 1992.It has a lot of features, centered around a zoom lens(from 38-76mm), which is motorised and operated by the round buttons on the front of the camera. It also has a panorama mode for taking wide landscape shots. When you zoom in / out the viewfinder also zooms in / out, so you can see exactly what you are including in each shot.The viewfinder also has dioptre correction, so can be adjusted for users with glasses. This camera is a slightly larger model for a 35mm compact but sits very nicely in the hand.Takes all standard 35mm film, and 2x CR123A lithium batteries.Tested and in full working order. Nice clean lens, and a few light usage marks on the body.

A very special compact camera with fully automatic operation. This was actually the first camera Canon ever made with a built-in flash. It is also unusual in that it also has the rangefinder focusing system too (virtually no other rangefinders have a flash). Take a look at the gallery for example photos we took with a Datelux. Feels really great to hold - far better build quality than later (more plastic) cameras. Very easy to use and with a lovely 40mm lens. Just turn the lens to focus and press the shutter button.  Comes with a reprint of the original instruction manual. If light is too low then the shutter will not fire, which reminds you to use the pop-up flash. Takes regular 35mm film. Has a self-timer, and can also imprint the year / month / day on photos if required.
