Exceptional quality, small size and great looks. Produced from 1971, the 35 DC is a lovely compact camera with a top-quality lens. It offers fully automatic exposure, so all you need to do is to focus and shoot. It has the excellent rangefinder focusing system, which makes focusing accurate and fast. The lens has a wide aperture (f/1.7) which means that the camera is great for shooting in low light.  Take a look at the gallery for some example shots taken with a 35 DC. The quality is excellent from the 6-element lens. It also has a back-light compensation button for use when shooting e.g. a person with a light behind them. This increases the exposure to compensate for the light behind the subject.  Features: Self-timer 40mm f1.7 lens Automatic aperture and shutter speed control Shutter speed range from 1/500 to 1/15s Backlight compensation button Flash hot shoe All-metal construction Rangefinder focusing system Viewfinder displays aperture and shutter speed Condition: Body and lens in excellent condition with no major marks

See the gallery for some example shots we took on a 35 EE. Description of camera This is an unusual and highly capable rangefinder camera from 1961. It offers the following: Shutter-priority automatic and full manual modes One of the widest shutter speed ranges on a rangefinder of this era: 1/1000 to 1s  No batteries required for operation (selenium meter equipped) Rangefinder focusing with automatic parallax marks f/1.9 lens Viewfinder red dot indicator if light is too low Special features include: The focus wheel is where the film winding lever normally is The film winding lever is on the bottom The film rewind lever is on the left side This configuration actually works very well, in particular the focus wheel which makes it hard to accidentally change aperture or shutter speed when hunting for the focus ring. These features were repeated by Fujica on a number of cameras, culminating with the legendary and rare Fujica Compact Deluxe. Condition Body in good no major scratches or dents.  Lens clear with no marks visible. Meter working accurately

A stunning example of the beautiful Minolta Uniomat III camera.  This is an interesting camera, with a fully automatic shutter and aperture which is operated via a ring on the lens. Simply point the camera at the subject, then turn the lens ring to match a needle in the panel on the top of the camera.  This simultaneously set the shutter speed and aperture. This camera is unusual in having a fastest shutter speed of 1/1000s - very fast for a camera from the 1960s ! The camera also has rangefinder focus for fast, accurate focusing. In all round excellent condition, with a lovely clear lens. Tested and working perfectly. Note that this camera operates without batteries. Clever.

This is a fully automatic rangefinder camera (similar to the Minolta HiMatic F). All you need to do is to focus, and shoot. Compared to many other rangefinders of the era, the GEr is very compact and light, so fits in a pocket or bag with ease. It has a light sensor to measure the light level and determine the correct exposure. This camera has a particularly large range of shutter speeds (2s to 1/800s) so can cope with a very broad range of light levels, which is very useful. Lens is a 38mm / f2.8, so slightly wide angle and a very good all-rounder. Condition In good condition and full working order. Takes 2 x SR44 batteries with the supplied battery adaptors.

A very special compact camera with fully automatic operation. This was actually the first camera Canon ever made with a built-in flash. It is also unusual in that it also has the rangefinder focusing system too (virtually no other rangefinders have a flash). Take a look at the gallery for example photos we took with a Datelux. Feels really great to hold - far better build quality than later (more plastic) cameras. Very easy to use and with a lovely 40mm lens. Just turn the lens to focus and press the shutter button.  Comes with a reprint of the original instruction manual. If light is too low then the shutter will not fire, which reminds you to use the pop-up flash. Takes regular 35mm film. Has a self-timer, and can also imprint the year / month / day on photos if required. All functions tested: - Lovely clear viewfinder, with slick focusing action - Flash snaps up smoothly and charges quickly / fires strongly - Film winder works perfectly   - Lens clear of any dirt / scratches   Comes equipped with meter batteries and lens cap. In excellent condition with just a few signs of use.

The Olympus 35 RC is one of our favourite cameras. Firstly it is seriously compact for a rangefinder but on top of that it offers both automatic in addition to full manual exposure control. In automatic mode you select the desired shutter speed using the top dial and the camera selects the correct aperture.  For manual mode you select both the aperture and the shutter speed for full control. Unusually the manual mode operates completely independently of the batteries so it is always available, and the batteries are just used when the automatic aperture is desired.  It has rangefinder focusing for accuracy and a really high quality lens. There are many internet articles talking about the great quality photos it can take. It also displays both the shutter speed and aperture in the viewfinder. A lovely little performer that feels great in the hand. Camera includes adaptor so that it can run on regular button cells. For the best lens cap for the RC, please take a look at our 43-46mm lens adaptor ring.  Condition:  Very nice example with no major marks, and light scuffs from usage / dulling of the silver finish. Lens in excellent condition. Shutter speeds and meter checked for accuracy.
