This is an unusual camera from Konica – built to withstand knocks and wet weather. Originally designed for use on construction sites, it has a body with rubberised coating to survive gentle drops, and a protective glass plate over the lens.
It has a lovely 28mm lens (wide-angle) and is fully automatic, able to cope with a broad range of lighting situations. It is great for hiking, street photography etc where cameras are expected to take a few knocks.
See the gallery for some sample shots we took with one of these cameras.
It has an automatic flash, autofocus, automatic film wind / rewind.
In perfect working order. A few scuffs and usage marks, but ready to take a few more knocks with ease !
Takes 2CR5 lithium battery (included), and works with all 35mm film types.

The Olympus Pen range of film cameras are half-frame cameras that use standard 35mm film (available everywhere), but take each photo on only half of the negative. This means that you get double the photos from each film - a huge 72 photos from a regular 36 exposure film.
If you get your films developed and just scanned then most labs will not charge you any extra which makes this camera an awesome choice for keen photographers.
The Pen EES-2 is one of the simplest to use but also handles a wider range of film speeds than its predecessors. It also has a flash hot shoe (so no flash cable required).
It is fully automatic. Just point and shoot. It has a light meter around the lens which calculates the correct aperture / shutter speed and sets them automatically. The exposure system is very similar to the Olympus Trip 35, and it also pops up a red flag warning in the viewfinder if it is too dark to take a photo.
It takes film speeds up to ISO 400.
Condition:
In full working order including shutter, light meter and red flag operation
Body and lens in good condition - no major marks and some minor scuffs on the body.
Lens is clear and bright

It is surprisingly good in low light - great for night street photography.

A nice example of the legendary Olympus Trip 35 film camera. In good condition, with all functions professionally tested. Meter, shutter speeds, aperture all work fine, and the 'red-flag' indicator pops up when the light level is too low to take a photo. The camera light seals have also been replaced. Some minor marks / dings / scratches as expected, but overall in good condition for the age.
We also stock a book: 'Learn Film Photography with the Olympus Trip 35'. Check it out here. Great for learning about photography using this camera. Also check out the Olympus 35 DC, Olympus 35 EC and the Minolta HiMatic E - they have an even better focusing system (rangefinder) and can cope with a wider range of lighting conditions - a great step up from the Trip 35 and some even cost less !
Alternatively if you are after a retro camera with a flash - the Canon A35 Datelux and Flash Fujica are great choices.

Take a look at the gallery to see examples of photos we took with a PEN EED.
The Pen EED was produced from 1967 to 1972 and is an example of a half-frame camera so it uses standard 35mm film (available everywhere), but it takes each photo on only half of the negative. This means that you get double the photos from each film - a huge 72 photos from a regular 36 exposure film.
If you get your films developed and just scanned, then most labs will not charge you any extra which makes this camera an awesome choice for keen photographers.
The EED has wide (f1.7) lens so good for low light, and a nice wide range of shutter speeds (from 1/15 to 1/500). Like the Olympus Trip 35 it also has a little red flag that pops up in the viewfinder if the light level is too low to take a photo. It has fully automatic exposure, so you only need to focus (using the distance markings on the lens) and shoot. Very compact due to the half-frame design, and more capable than the Trip 35 (better lens, wider range of shutter speeds).
Camera includes adaptor so that it can run on regular button cells.
Condition:
In full working order
Body in good condition a few minor marks
Lens in excellent condition
