It was the first Super-8 camera to have a wide f/1.4 aperture combined with a powerful 8x zoom. Takes 4x AA batteries and 2 x SR44 batteries for the light meter. Note that as an option this camera is also available modified to power the light meter from the main batteries using a 2.7 volt voltage regulator, so no separate meter batteries are needed. This improves meter accuracy and stability. This camera has been fully tested and all functions are working correctly. Many Sankyo Super-8 cameras use a special 4xAA battery holder with an extra connection on the end (to give 6 volts to the camera, and 3 volts to the meter). This often deteriorates with age and cracks. This is a direct replacement.

A very simple to use Super-8 camera from Minolta, on sale from 1974-78. The camera is nice and compact so is great for travelling.
