This is the excellent Nikon F70 autofocus camera, originally produced from 1994-2002. This is a very easy to use SLR camera, lighter to carry than many others and a little more compact. Works with all types of 35mm film. It comes with an autofocus 28-300mm lens, that spans from wide angle to a powerful telephoto - a lens which can handle virtually any situation from landscapes to sport and nature photography. The camera has a fully-automatic 'Program' mode where all you need to do is point it and press the shutter button for great results. It also has a pop-up flash. The Nikon F4 was the go-to camera for professionals in the late 80s / early 90s.  The camera is in full working order and externally in excellent condition. The Canon EOS-1N RS is a professional-level film camera. With blindingly fast autofocus it is equally suited to sports, wildlife, portrait and street photography.  It has the unusual feature (for an SLR) with no mirror. Instead it takes photos through a fixe glass plate. This is to eliminate the time-lag associated with lifting a mirror before each photo, making this the fastest autofocus film SLR ever made.  Few cameras have the speed and capability of the EOS-1N RS, and the controls are beautifully designed, making it simple to access all of the features. The lovely Pentax MX is excellent for beginners, but has fantastic build quality. With a full metal chassis and metal top / bottom it is built to last. We generally have both silver and black bodies in stock. Let us know if you have a preference. (Note that the famous Pentax K1000 is actually a budget / reduced functionality version of the MX). The MX is a much more compact camera. It operates in full manual mode, with the built-in light meter. The viewfinder displays the selected shutter speed and a series of lights to indicate if you are over / under exposed. Just turn the shutter or aperture rings until the green light comes on. Also has a self timer, and depth-of-field preview - a useful feature that is normally on higher-end cameras of the era. This a very compact, fully mechanical SLR - the shutter speeds all operate independently of the battery (which is only needed to power the light meter). The MX has no auto-exposure mode, but it is very easy to shoot with and will really help you to learn about the fundamentals of photography. A rather unusual SLR camera from Canon around 1969. This is a very early camera to have automatic exposure (shutter speed-priority AE) in addition to manual exposure. To use automatic mode, you simply set the shutter speed on the top of the camera and the camera selects the right aperture. The camera has a lovely bright and clear viewfinder, displaying the aperture on the right. This camera is unusual in that it has a partially interchangeable lens - you can unscrew the front section of the 50mm lens and replace it with either a 35mm or 95mm len group. The rear part of the lens is fixed to the camera. Also has a self timer, and uses the Canon Quick Load system to make loading film incredibly simple (the same system as used on the great Canonet QL17 rangefinder). The camera takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied). Condition Very good condition all round - no major marks or scratches. This camera has a built-in light meter on the top of the camera. The meter is simple to use - you set your desired shutter speed and the meter tells you the correct aperture setting. The meter has two ranges for regular daylight, and low light. Also has a self timer, and mirror lockup lever. The camera operates fully mechanically, and only uses the battery for the light meter. It takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied). A superb camera for beginners who will really learn the fundamentals of photography, but with the quality to last for years.   Condition Very good condition all round - no major marks or scratches. This camera operates in full manual mode, and does not have a built-in light meter so it is a great way to truly learn about photography (there are plenty of light-meter mobile phone apps you can use too). This was a high-end autofocus SLR on sale from 1992 onwards. It features some very impressive capabilities, including zoom flash, multiple metering modes, and a world first - the viewfinder detects what you are looking at and focuses on that spot. Most functions are selected via a control wheel on the top left of the camera which is clearly marked with icons for each function, making the camera suitable for beginners and more advanced users alike. A moulded hand grip makes handling easy, and the viewfinder displays shutter speed and aperture. Comes with Canon 35-80mm zoom lens - a great general use lens or as body only.
