The top-of-the range Minolta Super-8 camera - one of the finest Super-8 movie cameras ever made.
The Minolta D12 is superb Super-8 cine camera with advanced features for serious movie making. It features a 'lap-dissolve' function that lets you transition from one scene to another, with an overlapping fade out / in. Very few cameras have this capability.
It has a very sold die-cast metal body and metal case, and one of the brightest viewfinders we have seen on a Super-8 (in this respect it is a step up from the competing Nikon R10/R8 cameras).
This camera was released with a range of professional accessories including an intervalometer (which takes a single frame automatically at preset intervals), and a radio remote release. We occasionally have these accessories - please contact us for details.
This camera is film tested - see the sample video for a test film including testing of the lap dissolve function.
