The Minolta D12 is superb Super-8 cine camera with advanced features for serious movie making. It features a 'lap-dissolve' function that lets you transition from one scene to another, with an overlapping fade out / in. Very few cameras have this capability. It has a very sold die-cast metal body and metal case, and one of the brightest viewfinders we have seen on a Super-8 (in this respect it is a step up from the competing Nikon R10/R8 cameras).  This camera was released with a range of professional accessories including an intervalometer (which takes a single frame automatically at preset intervals), and a radio remote release. This automatically takes single-frame shots at intervals of 1/2 to 60 seconds (you can set the timing).
