Note that we can additionally modify this camera to power the light meter from the main batteries using a 2.7 volt voltage regulator, so no separate meter batteries are needed. This eliminates the need for separate meter batteries, and also improves exposure accuracy since the regulator supplies the same voltage as the original mercury batteries for which the camera was designed.
