FILM TESTED Canon Auto Zoom 518 Super-8 movie camera

A lovely example of the very compact Canon Auto Zoom 518 Super-8 cine camera. Takes regular Super-8 film (widely available) and takes awesome retro-style videos.

This is similar to the Canon Zoom 518 Super-8 but with a few added features.

Takes 3x AA batteries, and the battery chamber is nice and clean with no corrosion.

This has been fully tested and all functions are working correctly.

Controls are very clear and simple and the specifications include:

• 5x Power zoom lens
• f1.8 lens
• Automatic + manual exposure control
• 18 frames per second + slow-motion mode
• Film remaining indicator on the side of the camera
  
• Takes ISO 16-100 daylight film, and 40-160 tungsten
• Manual daylight / tungsten filter control switch

Takes 2 x AA batteries for the film drive, 1 x AA for the power zoom and 2 x SR44 for the meter.

Condition 

• Body in good condition with some scuffs from use and a little tarnishing
• Clean viewfinder
• In full working order with film drive, meter and aperture tested.
