Canon AL-1 SLR camera

The Canon AL-1 is one of the rarer of the A-series of Canon SLRs, and has the unique feature of focus assist. It bridges the manual-focus and auto-focus eras by having system that tells you when the lens is correctly focused.

This is done via 3 viewfinder LEDs: 2 red arrows which tell you which way to turn the lens to focus, and a green LED confirming that focus is correct.

It also has aperture-priority automatic and manual exposure modes.

The AL-1 has a 'B' shutter setting which you can use for long exposure night photos, plus self-timer.
