A very rare opportunity to get hold of a Canon 318M Super-8 movie camera in all original packaging.

This camera has been film tested - see the gallery for a short test film taken with it.

The camera itself is an excellent example of the very compact Canon 318M Super-8 cine camera. Takes regular Super-8 film (widely available) and takes awesome retro-style videos.

Takes 3x AA batteries.

This has been fully tested and all functions are working correctly. 

Has a folding hand grip (that holds the batteries) that folds up when not in use for easier portability.

Controls are very clear and simple and the specifications include:

  • Power zoom (10 - 30mm) 
  • f1.8 lens
  • Automatic exposure
  • 18 frames per second 
  • Macro setting for close-ups
  • Film remaining indicator on the side of the camera
  • Takes ASA 25-100 daylight film, and 40-160 tungsten
  • Manual daylight / tungsten filter control switch

Takes 3 x AA batteries.

Condition 

  • Body in fairly good condition with a few scuffs
  • In full working order.
