Canon FT manual SLR with 50mm f/1.4 lens

A lovely elegant SLR camera from Canon (and the predecessor to the Canon FTb).

A very nice camera to use - very solidly built with a real quality feel to each of the controls.

This camera has TTL (through the lens) metering, and a lovely big needle that moves with the lighting conditions and camera settings. Simply adjust the shutter speed / aperture until the needle is at the correct exposure mark and your photo will be correctly exposed.

Also has a self timer, and depth-of-field preview - a useful feature that is normally on higher-end cameras of the era.

Uses the Canon Quick Load system to make loading film incredibly simple (the same system as used on the great Canonet QL17 rangefinder).

The camera operates fully mechanically, and only uses the battery for the light meter. It takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied).

A superb camera for beginners who will really learn the fundamentals of photography, but with the quality to last for years.
