FILM TESTED Beaulieu 5008_S Super-8 camera with f/1.2 lens

This is an exceptional example of the lovely Beaulieu 5008_S, Serial Number 443209.  In superb condition and in full working order. See the gallery for a short test film shot with this camera.

This camera is operating in 100% original condition, and comes with the rare (and highly sought-after) Angenieux 6-80mm f/1.2 lens. This gives a massive 13.3x zoom range and a very wide aperture for optimal low-light use.

We also include a newly-celled battery and USB-powered charger.

Battery and charger

We include our brand new battery pack. This consists of a newly recelled 450mAH NiMH battery pack and a very sturdy machined aluminium battery holder / grip. This is custom machined for us to fit perfectly onto the camera and is much stronger than the original Beaulieu grip. The USB-powered smart charger can be used both from a mains-powered USB adaptor at home, or with a USB power pack for mobile use. This has the great benefit that you can keep your camera battery topped up when on the move as it charges the camera battery in-situ.

The charger charges at a current of 500mA which is optimal for NiMH cells, and also won't overload the cameras' circuitry.

The charger has an LED that indicates charging status:

• Solid Red: charging
• Solid Green: fully charged
• Flashing Red: error
