A lovely example of the very compact Canon 518-2 Super-8 cine camera. Takes regular Super-8 film (widely available) and takes awesome retro-style videos.

Comes with the original leather carry case in fair condition.

Takes 3x AA batteries for the main camera functions, plus 2 x LR44 batteries for the meter.

This has been fully tested and all functions are working correctly.

Controls are very clear and simple and the specifications include:

  • 5x zoom lens
  • f1.8 lens
  • Automatic exposure
  • 18 frames per second 
  • Film remaining indicator on the side of the camera
  • Takes ISO 16-100 daylight film, and 40-160 tungsten
  • Manual daylight / tungsten filter control switch


Condition 

  • Body in excellent condition with some minor scratches from use
  • Lens clear of mould and fungus
