Lens cap: 43.5mm lens adaptor for Olympus Trip 35, 35 RC, PEN cameras

The Olympus Trip 35, 35 RC and Pen cameras take a 43.5mm lens cap. They both however have an issue where the centre section of the lens protrudes a little, which means that modern lens caps don't sit very well on the lens and can fall off rather easily.

In addition 43.5mm is a rare size for lens caps and filters.

A far better solution is to use a 43.5-46mm adaptor ring. This slim ring screws securely onto the camera lens and then has a 46mm filter thread. This enables regular 46mm (widely available) lens caps to sit very firmly on the lens.
