Mamiya 8 JE 8mm retro cine camera

Made in the 1950s, this is very cute little 8mm cine camera. It has a full die-cast metal case, with a tan coloured finish.
It has a fixed 10mm f/1.9 lens.

The film drive works on 2 x AA batteries and functions well. 

The lens is in very clean condition, and the aperture works smoothly.
The controls are minimal, and it has a film counter on the side. 

There is a table indicating the correct aperture settings for different weather conditions.

Note that this camera takes Double-8 film (not Super 8) which is rather a specialist format. We have not film tested this camera so can't guarantee fully, but it seems to work OK. See the video for the film drive operating.
