Minolta X-700 SLR with 50mm f/1.7 lens

The Minolta X-700 was one of the biggest selling SLR cameras of the 1980s - need we say more. Released to compete with the Canon AE-1 Program it remained in production for many years.

The X-700 combines traditional manual control with very useful automatic exposure modes. Its Program mode allows the camera to automatically select the aperture and shutter speed, while Aperture Priority lets you choose the aperture and have the camera select the shutter speed. Full manual exposure is also available, making it an excellent camera for both beginners and experienced photographers.
