Nikonos IV-A underwater 35mm camera with 35mm lens.

On sale from 1980-83, the Nikonos IV is a super-rugged camera, great both for marine and street-photography.

It has a whisper-quiet shutter and lovely winding action. It operates in both manual (with a fixed 1/90s shutter speed + B) and automatic modes.

It takes interchangeable lenses, with both aperture and focusing operated by the knobs on either side.

A striking camera, capable of superb image quality and bound to turn a few heads.

This example comes with a 35mm wide-angle lens in great condition. 

In very good working order. 

The rubber seals on this camera appear in good condition, but should be serviced and tested before underwater use.

The viewfinder is extremely bright and clear to look through.
