NiMH USB smart charger for Beaulieu 4008 / 2008 cameras

This is a smart charger for charging NiMH battery packs in-camera with Beaulieu 4008 / 2008 cameras. This has a major advantage in being USB powered, so it can be used both from a mains-powered USB adaptor at home, or with a USB power pack for mobile use.

The charger charges at a current of 500mA which is optimal for NiMH cells, and also won't overload the cameras' circuitry.

The charger has an LED that indicates charging status:

• Solid Red: charging
• Solid Green: fully charged
• Flashing Red: error

The charger plugs into the charging socket on the 4008 / 2008.

Note that this should never be used to charge Lithium batteries. It is for NiMH cells only.
