Sydney Super-8 camera rental: Chinon 40 SM XL

The Chinon 40 SM XL is a simple to use camera with f/1.2 lens and wide shutter angle, so is capable of good low-light shooting.

Available at $50 per day, or $40 per day for rentals of 1 week or longer.

It can cope with a broad range of lighting conditions and has a 4x power zoom.

It also has EE lock, fader and backlight-correction controls in addition to exposure compensation.

Suitable for Kodak 50D or 200T film, although 500T can also be used if the exposure compensation dial is used.

We also offer an optional free 1-to-1 online training session in case you need a quick overview of how to use the camera.  

All you need to do is to buy some film and start shooting.

Note that the minimum rental period is 3 days.

Our cameras can be picked up from Sydney, or we can Express Post to you (with return label provided). Postage costs are in addition to the rental fee.
